Working as Social Media Manager for The George Charles, I was responsible for planning, creating and managing content across Instagram to increase engagement, drive bookings and strengthen the venue's brand identity.
My role covered the full content production process, including content strategy, campaign planning, photography, videography, editing, copywriting, scheduling and community management. Working closely with the client, I developed content calendars that balanced seasonal campaigns, food and drink launches, sporting events and day-to-day hospitality marketing, ensuring each post aligned with wider commercial priorities.
Projects included promoting new menu items, cocktails and events, developing campaign concepts around major sporting fixtures, producing lifestyle photography and short-form video, and refining the venue's visual identity through consistent colour grading, typography and editing techniques. Alongside creating content, I regularly reviewed performance metrics to identify successful formats and inform future creative decisions, helping to increase engagement, bookings and overall brand visibility.
